Data we collect

Tlsinspect does not collect, store, or share personal data. The tool operates as follows:

• You enter a hostname. The tool opens a TLS connection to that host, reads the certificate chain, and displays the result in your browser.
• The hostname you enter is forwarded to our inspection backend to perform the TLS handshake. No log of inspected hostnames is retained.
• We do not use cookies, analytics, tracking scripts, or any form of persistent storage.
• We do not set or read any client-side storage (localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB).

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties. The inspection backend communicates only with the hostname you provide and returns the certificate data directly to your browser.

Third-party services

The site loads font files from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com). Google Fonts does not log font requests in a way that identifies individual users. No other third-party service is loaded.

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the revision.
